When we created the Global Heartbeat campaign, we wanted to send a message to the world with a gesture that represented everyone's voice for "Hope, Peace, and Togetherness." This heartbeat action has a powerful impact, and it continued in the World CSR Day program in Mumbai, India.
On behalf of the 60 MasterPeace clubs, the licensed NGOs in 45 countries, we were awarded with the NGO Leadership price by the team of Dr. Bhatia of the

This is a great symbolic award that shows appreciation for the tough and complex work all the team is doing. In 2022 400+ projects to engage, connect and empower 200.000 + youngsters!
The urgency has never been so high as war is back in Europe; the social divide growing and climate change putting pressure on our societies and business models.
Ca 1.000 participants discussed the need of co creation between the three key stakeholders; Government, Business and Civil Society. I invited to audience representing these three t stand up and do the “heart beat clapping” we introduced during the International Day of Peace last year. A heart beat that is a unifying clapping tat resonates to all, that symbolizes that everyone can do his clap and you can feel an hear that together we are stronger India is unique in many aspects. One of the aspects that triggered me is that in 2014 the government introduced a law that companies must allocate 2 % of their net income to CSR. My impression is that this is more and more successful and more taken serious than the first years where greenwashing was more the game to play. Many companies with renewable concepts ready for scaling. The Asian region deeply understands the current and future impact of climate; more than 60 glaciers are melting in the Himalaya mountains with 4 billion people living in the deltas. The heat and draughts in summertime (> 50 degrees Celsius) are followed by devastating flooding like in Pakistan only 7 months ago and 8 million people homeless and on the run. Climate change will have human faces!
The need to work on climate is clear. I am afraid we can yet even not imagine which pressure this will put on their societies. Societies like India where they have many billionaires and at the same time 400 million people without access to clean water. A immense country in search for a sustainable future for all.
As MasterPeace we are drops on a boiling plate. Every drop matters! Every changemaker is a role model in his or #leadership her locality.
A deep bow to all MasterPeace who deserve this appreciation!
